The title is self-explanatory...When I heard this for the first time, I had a wild guess that it might be against discrimination...Alas!..It is a discrimination at the end of the day...Then I asked why name it reverse than calling it discrimination itself....May be to make people feel satisfied when hearing the term as it could imply that there is nothing wrong in stealing from a rich man as he has money....
Still confused?...
Have you ever experienced that you are denied your right for an absurd reason?
Have you seen students who are talented but studying in poorly ranked institutions not because of their score but some policies of their place?
Have you ever lost a place to someone who is less worth to that place than you?
I am supremely confident that you might have got the context of this post by now..Follow the link below to get some facts on this...
At India
Reservation on the basis of castes in 21st century is the greatest curse of independent India.. The reservations since the formation of Indian republic has not helped the scheduled castes/tribes till date, otherwise they need not have the same reservation after 63 years...
Every country has discrimination in one way or the other...The crazy part is that even inside families there are these discriminations...Have you ever heard of incidents where one sibling is denied the right of consuming his inherited property just because he is well settled in life than the others....This is nothing but reverse discrimination...Calling these as an act of mercy or pitiful act is senseless...It is a crime..
Are you ready to lose something just because you have some part of it?
Everyone believes that it is stupid to scrap the leg to fit into a shoe....Good...Then why do we want to give the shoe to someone who is not even worth it?...Then comes the question it fits or not?I am sure in most cases it won't fit...But when the world realizes it, the worthy person will not be in a position to wear it...
In our IT industry if a single project of 2 months fails, we have root cause analysis, lessons learnt documented and those who erred might even get fired. What do you think should be the punishment to these politicians for having failed to deliver their promises? Indira Gandhi’s grand son is still roaming and campaigning in the state of uttar pradesh for elections using the same slogan and its derivatives used by his grand mother “Garibi Hatao” (Remove Poverty!!)In another 50 years it will be the so called today’s upper class who will be feeling that they have been discriminated for a century and then the upper class will start a movement for providing reservations to them. Where is the end to this vicious cycle??
India is losing future KALAM, C.V.Raman and many more..
According to 2001 census, Brahmins constitute less than 4.1% of Indian population. Specifically, Saraswat Brahmins constitute less than 1% of Indian population....I am sure by now you can answer the reason behind it....There are lots more...
The point is how can I achieve it..I have seen people looking for the right answer in their life...When they get one such kind, they find that they had the wrong question...But I think I am clear on what I want...I want a real society which has no discrimination...Where should we make the change to get that done?...
I suggest that the change should happen in the way we see things...Life is what I make of it..I know where I fit..Let me be honest with it...Happiness is what I define at the end of the day..
We have seen people happy with Rs.500 a day and people sad having an income ten times the above....Let us stop discrimination from our end..Let us break the chain so that our kids are not aware of it...I can shine in this world if i have talent...Let us make the future generation believe that and let them focus only on building their talent than thinking about number of seats, transfer of caste...I am born for a purpose and you are born for some other purpose..Let us stop comparing and go in our own paths....
Conversations can change things for everything about life is a conversation...Converse with people about the idea and let us make a difference..Let us lead by example...
I am a human..I don't belong to upper caste or lower caste..The above thoughts are not due to exaggeration...They are just thoughts of a human with a heart of a human....
Love people for who they are and not for what they do...
Good post. Hoping to see more :)
